Course Title:   Diploma in Hospitality Management & Food Studies

The Culinary Academy has a proud tradition of graduating students of a high calibre who represent The Culinary Academy in top hotels, kitchens, restaurants and similar surroundings all over the world.

The Diploma in Hospitality Management is a unique course offering students a dynamic and industry-related education.

The course was developed by Team TCA and received international accreditation from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This was the first time the LCCI accreditation had been awarded to an independently developed South African hospitality management course.

Successful graduates receive The Culinary Academy's Diploma in Hospitality Management in conjunction with their LCCI accreditation.

The Diploma in Hospitality Management focuses on developing professional operational management skills related to food service, tourism, food and beverage cost control, communication, marketing, human resources and hotel and guest house operations.

It also equips our students with the necessary skills to become professionals in the wider field of hospitality, for example, events co-ordinaters/management, catering and hospitality managers as well as understanding the lodging business.

Our goal at TCA is to see people develop their talents, creativity and ideas - we therefore develop individuals who can create jobs rather than creating people for specific jobs.

By linking the strong points of the Diploma in Hospitality Management with the well-established and internationally accredited Advanced Food and Wine Chefs Diploma Course offered by The Culinary Academy, students gain invaluable knowledge and experience of the inner workings of the hospitality industry.
