Course Title: Advanced Diploma IT Management
What is Information Technology Management?
Information Technology Management deals with IT as a valuable resource within each and every organisation or business. It is concerned with designing or developing products or services in order to ensure customer satisfaction, productivity and, most importantly, making a profit. IT Managers are therefore responsible for the successful running and operation of all IT services within a firm, so that the employees are able to perform their functions and deliver the overall targets.
Why should I study Information Technology Management?
In the modern era, basically everything has become computerised, and life without this technology is almost unthinkable. Obtaining a qualification in this field is to every student’s advantage, as there still is a shortage of trained professionals to assist employees when IT problems arise. Strong IT leadership is of the utmost importance in every firm, because if certain IT services should break down, an entire organisation could be brought to a halt. In the 21st century, IT has become synonymous with productivity, and without productivity no business can be successful.
