To provide comprehensive training in the fields of Clinical Exercise Prescription and Specific Training for the student or fitness instructor who wishes to enter the field of Advanced Training and Consulting, and to ensure a clear understanding of the concept, potential and responsibilities of this specialised field of work.
      
Course Format:     

Lectures & Workshops, Extensive “hands on” Practical Training & Experiential learning (Internship 100 hrs).

• Documented Case Study, Research Thesis, Practical Research Portfolio.

Course Title 2 Diploma in Exercise Science (N.Dip.Ex.Sc.) Classification Wellness -> Exercise Science Course Requirements Students are required to purchase a Study Pack which includes: HFPA study manuals (Theory & Practical) and Study Guides Assignments, open-book tests and self-test questions Required Textbooks: NSCA Essentials of Strength Training & Conditioning Blood Pressure: Stethoscope & Cuff Body Composition: Skinfold Callipers HFPA Golf Shirt Student Card HFPA Water Bottle Price Notes Course Duration: Full-Time: 2 Years (Includes the Certificate in Exercise Science- 1st year) Part-Time: (does not include electives) Lectures & Workshops are offered over a 12 month period. Depending on the amount of time a student is able to allocate to study and the nature of previous learning, students should be able to complete all criteria for certification from between a period of 1 and 2 year
