Course Title: TEFL Diploma
The diploma involves 120 hours of study which is intensive and aimed at prospective students who are considering TESOL/TEFL as a career or who are seriously interested in the field of teaching English. Furthermore, diploma students enjoy better opportunities and higher perks.
The course is complete in itself and you do not need to buy any other materials. However, many students, particularly if they are trying for high grades, chose to undertake a certain amount of further reading from the suggested booklist.
You will probably need 20-25 hours to complete each module. Each module has two assignments that you should complete and send to your tutor by e-mail or post. Your tutor
will mark and grade your work and return it. The modules also have self-correcting exercises along with the answer key and accompanying notes to help you monitor your own progress on the course.
You can e-mail or write to your personal tutor as often as you need to. Your tutor will do his or her best to reply the same or following day. Furthermore ABC is just a telephone call or a visit away.
If your assignment needs to be improved your tutor will make helpful suggestions. You can submit each assignment up to three times without further payment. If, after the third attempt your work is still below a pass grade of C, a small charge will be made to cover the additional administrative cost of marking your work. Should you want to make sure that your assignment is successful, ABC can proof read it.
When you complete the course you will receive your Diploma in TESOL along with a written reference that you can use when applying for teaching positions.
Your tutors have many years of experience both in training teachers and in teaching in Great Britain and overseas and can therefore provide you with the necessary advice you might need.
