Course Title:   Develop Learning Programmes

This programme will be useful to employees/employers who are involved in identifying and providing structured and targeted skills development opportunities in the workplace with individuals and groups.  This course will enable a trainer or facilitator or any other person involved in offering training to compile a learning programme which is specifically based on learning outcomes.  It provides the skills and knowledge to compile learning materials for the programme, regardless of the programme length.

Learners who have been declared competent against this unit standard will be able to:

•    Explain the concepts of competence based training
•    Plan for training and facilitation
•    Prepare for training and facilitation
•    Deliver presentations
•    Conduct group training
•    Facilitate the learning
•    Review the training and facilitation processes

TARGET GROUP

This course has been designed to meet the needs of those persons tasked with training within the National Qualifications Framework system, but who do not have the necessary background knowledge and expertise to formulate the required workplace-based courses.

Duration:

Participants will be expected to attend a 4 day course and then given 30 days to complete their POE.  (Rates quoted are for the support over these 30 days.)

Results:

The results will be sent to the employer once assessment and moderation have been verified by the relevant SETA.
