Course Title:   Obstetric Ultrasound for Primay Health Care

This course is designed to introduce you to the basics of obstetric ultrasound imaging.

It links up with the previous course on general ultrasound of the FPD, but is not essential to have done the general course.

The South African Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology has categorized obstetric scanning into 3 levels and this course will attempt to bring scanners up to level 2 so that they will feel comfortable about the basic obstetric scan, about fetal growth and behaviour and to recognize most structural fetal anomalies.
