Course Title: Advanced Beauty and Fashion Make - up
The only internationally recognised school of artistic Make-up in South Africa.
This is the only private course of its kind in the country, and probably in the world.
Artistic flair and a pleasing personality are far more essential than high academic achievement. This one-year course, which has a high practical content, is devised for those who wish to work in the field of television, film theatrical and photographic make-up. It is also an invaluable course for teachers of drama and dance etc.Until now, students wishing to enter this very specialised and competitive field have not had the opportunity to take a course which has been tailor made to their requirements.
They have to undertake a full beauty therapy course, often being bored with a course by aspects of the course in which the have little or no interest and with very little opportunity to learn more than very basic make-up techniques. Shirley Wenman, together with other experienced tutors at the school, they have compiled a most interesting and comprehensive training course. Shirley Wenman has held the International World Cup two years in fantasy make-up. The school is held in high esteem by the Educational Authorities.
