Dangerous Goods is an extremely important course on your way to becoming fully equipped and knowledgeable in the industry of International Trade. Without a proper knowledge of chemicals and material hazards, the import and export of cargo becomes risky and lethally dangerous which ultimately will lead to loss of life and loss of cargo. It is of utmost importance that clearing and forwarding agents, shipping agents, clerks, buyers and sellers are aware of the hazards of their chosen cargo no matter how benign their cargo may seem to them. The Dangerous Goods classification has been revised over many years within the shipping industry based on first-hand experience of the various situations that have occurred while moving containers from one country to another.
