Objectives This course is designed for the student who desires to acquire an understanding of hypnosis. The student will learn various suggestibility exercises for use with clients and various hypnotic devices and their use. The student will also learn several authoritative inductions which can be applied quickly in a professional practice, how to test for hypnosis and what to do after the hypnotic state has been achieved by a client.
Course Outline
Basic Hypnosis (Core programme 2 1/2 days / 5 study units)
History of hypnosis: How to Hypnotize: Rapport: Instant & Rapid Inductions:
Deepening; Pre-Hypnosis Techniques; Levels of Hypnosis & Depth Testing;
Ideomotor Signals and Anchors; Triggers: Self-Hypnosis; Stress Management: Habit & Pain Control. Mind-Body Healing; Direct suggestion hypnosis: scripts. Marketing & business management: (plus 20 hours of independent study).
Each student will be sent an Elman Induction script on registration ?They will be asked to read it and memorize as much as possible before the practice sessions.
The Basic Hypnosis (Core Programme) will be held 4 times a year. All modules run throughout the year. Intensive 10 days in July.
