Course Title:   Dangerous Goods Training

The driver of a Vehicle that transports Classified Dangerous Goods and Substances that is in excess of Exempt Quality is lawfully required to undergo training of competency.

This is also a requirement to obtain a PrDP (D)

Any person that is Exposed / Works with, dangerous chemicals is required in terms of the occupational health and safety (OHS) act is to undergo training annually be a competent body.

We have a Specially constructed five Module training program for Dangerous Goods.

Module 1

    * Understand Information Placards.
    * Know the legal changes.
    * Understand the definitions.

Module 2

    * Identify the 9 classes of dangerous goods and substances.
    * Read and Load compatibility charts.

Module 3

    * Route Interaction.
    * Transport emergency cards (TREM CARDS).
    * Understand Trem Cards terminology.
    * Dangerous goods declaration.

Module 4

    * P.D.E - Personal Protective Equipment.

Module 5

    * Emergency Procedure.
    * Spillage.
    * Fire Fighting.
