DID YOU KNOW that the term Latin American is an abbreviation for Latin and American rather than a reference to the geographic area of Latin American? The reason for this is that the Samba, Rumba and Cha Cha originated from Latin America. The Paso Doble from Europe and the Jive from North America.

The Dance With Me competitive students have participated in many Latin American and Ballroom Competitions since 2003 in various cities around South Africa with various associations namely the SADTA, SAADA, RDTA and FEDANSA.

Our social students have also had the opportunity to represent Dance With Me at various inter studio challenges and match dances under the auspices of the SASDF.

Our students compete in various sections from beginners to Championship levels and our highly qualified trainers’ knowledge of the intricate technique and syllabus is much to be desired.
