Course Title:   Introduction to digital photography

This workshop is for those of you who wish to learn how to use your camera to its fullest potential, enabling you to take more creative photographs. We will discuss different types of digital cameras, the settings & functions found on digital cameras & how they can be applied to taking digital photographs. We will cover ISO, exposure, focus, aperture, shutter speed, resolution, white balance, colour temperature settings and use of flash .The basic principles of light, composition, basic computer skills, downloading, emailing images, & editing images on computer. The workshop includes theory, practical & feedback sessions

Anyone who is new to digital photography and wants to learn how to take better photographs in a relaxed and fun environment of a mountain retreat.

What you need:

A digital camera, either point & shoot with manual override or a digital SLR. A laptop and tripod are recommended.
