Course Title: Ground School
The ground school subjects for the commercial pilot licence have always been a thorny issue for anyone who has entertained the idea of becoming a professional pilot. If you do not pass these subjects even though you have completed the flying side of things - no Commercial Licence. At Blue Chip Aviation we believe that once you have completed the private pilot’s licence and night rating it becomes contemplation time. Has flying matched up to your expectations and is it what you want to do? If the answer is yes then comes the commercial ground school. Once you have passed the subjects you can continue with the flying training.
Blue Chip has secured some of the best training manuals and lecturers in the business to make your task easier in this regard. One has to look at this phase of the training very carefully. You can go into it with the attitude, "I do not care, all I want to do is pass the exams", or, "I want to learn all I can, not only to pass the exams, but also to be a true professional". To this end Blue Chip has tried to construct the course so that you can achieve both these goals.
The courses are generally presented after hours 18:00 to 21:00 on weekdays. This gives you ample time to prepare during day time and revisit the previous evenings work so that if there are any questions, you can ask your instructor. On the other hand for the part timer this does not interfere with his normal day-to-day activities.
The subjects to be passed are the following:
* Aero Medicine
* Aviation Meteorology
* Aircraft Technical and General
* Radio Aids
* Instruments
* Navigation General
* Air Law and Procedures
* Navigation
* Plotting
* Flight Planning
