Course Title:   Digital Photography

The workshop will consist of a visually orientated presentation and discussion on the basics of photography and what makes up a great photo, a technical hands-on workshop with your camera and the application of the basics.

  • Functions and settings on your compact digital camera (Point and Shoot) or Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera (DSLR).
  • Aperture & shutter exposure.
  • Pixels, resolution, white balance, colour temperatures, ISO ratings, digital camera image noise.
  • Memory cards, software, downloading images.
  • Image Types and Sizes.
  • Shooting in RAW.

    Course Requirements You will need to have your own digital camera to take images with your facilitator.
