PADI Dive Master rating is where your adventure as a dive professional begins.
A Dive Master is a leader, someone to whom others turn to, to solve problems, for advice, for assistance and just to make the dive more convenient and more fun.
Once you earned your Dive Master certification, you have achieved a level that fewer than 1 in 10 divers achieved worldwide – it is an honor and a responsibility!
As a Dive Master you must have exemplary diving and rescue skills, professional-level knowledge of dive theory, know what your instructor needs – regarding logistics, equipment etc. You also accept responsibility for certified divers within the context of leading or managing diving activities.
As a result you must have good people skills and good judgment, display common honesty and courtesy and follow responsible dive practices. Most of all you must show a lot of enthusiasm and show people how to have fun!
Your attitude toward diving will bring divers back for more!
