Course Title:   TEFL - Teacher Training Course

Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

The certificate in TEFL is a highly intensive teacher-training course designed to prepare the participants to teach English as a foreign language to international students / English second language students.

The duration of the course is 4 weeks with a minimum of 100 hours. During this time trainees learn the theory and practice of language teaching as well as gaining practical experience in the classroom. Participants will be asked to teach from the first week of the course. The course is run with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 participants and applicants are accepted on a "first come first served" basis.

Times:
Classes begin at 8.30 am daily witha tea break from 1030 - 1100 and a lunch break from 13.00 - 14.00. Afternoon classes finish at 16.00. Participants will be asked to complete assignments and prepare classes after hours.

Certification:
A TEFL certificate and teaching report will be given to all those who successfully complete the course. A final grade of at least a C is required to pass. Recruiting agents recruit directly from our successful candidates.

Course Title 2 TEFL - Teacher Training Course Classification Education & Training -> Teacher Training Course Requirements Entry requirements: In order to be accepted onto the course participants must be fluent in English and have completed High School. In the case of mature students, application will be considered on the basis of experience rather than educational qualifications. Teaching experience is not necessary in order to complete the course. Price Price: The cost of the course is R5500 per applicant. A deposit of R1000 along with your completed application form must be submitted to TIES. Once this has been received you will receive acceptance onto a course. The remaining fees are due on the first day of the course. The deposit is non-refundable.
