No way! Can a year be almost done and dusted? Wasn’t it last month we all went to the Beeld Holiday Show for some shop-to-drop-time? Jeepers, where does time go? The good news is that the Beeld Holiday Show 2012 is only a few weeks away – bigger and better than ever. (If this is possible).
This annual showcase of the tried and tested, the new products, new inventions, camping toys, services and destinations has grown dramatically over a 7 year period, exceeding the sales expectations of exhibitors.
Exceeding sales expectations indicates that local tourism is very much alive and well. It shows clearly that consumers value this kind of exhibition, one of excellence, hosted in a venue of high standard, comparable to international shows.
Visitors to the Beeld Holiday Show have been identified as falling in the LSM market segment of 8 to 14.
For those who have no cooking clue what this means – visitors to the show have disposable income, they live a lifestyle where enjoying the outdoors takes prime focus in their lives, they go on holiday often and are precious! Because they are local tourists. They are the ones who make the exhibitors prosper and the industry grow so we can go and have fun!

The Beeld Holiday Show is the largest Holiday and Leisure consumer exhibition on the African continent. 2012 will celebrate the 8th consecutive Beeld Holiday Show and the largest to date. Gallagher Convention Centre will be wall to wall with exhibitors in sectors, resorts, destinations, operators, services, stuff to do, camping accessories and gear as well as holiday wheels – inclusive of leading motorhome, caravan and camping trailer manufacturers.
Many of the products on display will be seen for the first time on African soil! All Things Bike will launch alongside the Beeld Holiday Show due to the success, quality and credibility of the Beeld Holiday Show.
The Beeld Holiday Show is renowned as the official launch pad for the latest in self-catering holidays. The 2012 show will be no exception and new product launches of German manufactured motorhomes and caravans will be the highlight on display with many enthusiasts awaiting the opportunity to see the future market unfold.
