Laptops to elevate Africa’s e-literacy

One Laptop per Child 1

This utopian vision may well be a reality in the not too distant future as the African Union (AU) and the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) organisation agreed upon a memorandum of understanding in February 2011 which is geared towards furnishing primary school children all over Africa with notebook computers.
