Wedding Workshop
Wedding photography has changed. Gone are the days of the posed, formal wedding album. The new style of wedding photography is fresh, natural and documentary.
This workshop is designed to equip you with all the know how to shoot a modern wedding.
Included in the course fee:
* 3 x 3 hour lectures covering pre-production, equipment, lighting, marketing and costing and initial presentation to clients
* A full wedding shoot at the magnificent Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate, starting with bridal and groom preparations in the bridal suite, and ending with a full reception catered by the renowned La Colombe restaurant. Each participant is invited to bring a guest for lunch at this celebrated restaurant – all they have to do is be dressed for a wedding and be prepared to be photographed as part of the reception
* A further 3 hour lecture on post production, how to make image choices, different options on album presentation
* A professionally printed 24 page book of your best images from the shoot, which you can use as part of your wedding portfolio
You will work with a professional wedding photographer, and expert on light and flash and a photoshop and lightroom lecturer to cover all the relevant aspects of wedding photography
Classes
4 three hour lectures, and a full day wedding shoot. Lectures will run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 24th to 26th August from 6-9pm, the shoot will be on Saturday 28th August, and the final lecture takes place on Tuesday 31st August
Needs
A DSLR camera, tripod and flash, a good understanding of photography and your equipment, as well as competence with either Photoshop or Lightroom
Costs
R4500, including all tuition and lecture notes, a full day shoot and a 24 page printed book of your images
