Technical Specifications - Banner Submission Guidelines
Submit all Advertiser Content and copy to advertise(at)mydreamcourse.co.za.
Email submission information must include:
• Advertiser Name
• Advertisers contact number
• Advertiser Email Address for daily statistic reports
• Preferred Campaign Start & End date
• Creative Files
• Alt Text (if applicable)
• Linking URL

NOTE:
Payment for all insertions must be made in advance.
Banners with white background must have a 1-pixel border (minimum).
Creative processing turnaround time is 3 business days, permitting all Advertising Content and related technical elements meet Mydreamcourse.co.za guidelines. If advertisements do not comply with the technical specifications or content policies, this may delay the start date for a particular placement and or campaign.

2. Blog Publising
If you would like to publish an article on our blog site to promote your company, organization, courses on special, promotions that you might be running, special events, open days, etc; please send us your article to publish. All published articles are also networked via our Facebook and Twitter sites.

Technical Specifications - Blog Article Guidelines
Submit all article content and copy to blog(at)mydreamcourse.co.za.
Email submission information must include:
• Company name
• Author’s name
• Article Title
• Copy text in MS Word format or Text format.
• Your company logo
• At least 3 other images. We recommend 1 image per paragraph

Landscape - 550 pixels wide
Portfolio - between 400-450 pixels wide

We cannot increase size of photos without losing quality.

Mydreamcourse.co.za ("My Dream Course") has set forth the following Advertising Policies and Specifications to help guide advertisers and their agencies in preparing advertisements for display on the My Dream Course.com websites. These policies and specifications apply to the advertising creative that appears on My Dream Course.com, any technology or software used to serve and display the advertisements, and the landing pages that appear when a user clicks on such advertisements (collectively, "Advertiser Content"). This document outlines our standard policies and specifications.
These policies are intended to help guide advertisers, but the advertiser is solely liable for the Advertiser Content, notwithstanding My Dream Course’s acceptance of an insertion order or display of such advertisements.
General Technical Guidelines
• Advertisements must not collect any information from or about individual users (whether or not such information is personally identifiable) without My Dream Course’s prior written consent.
• All advertisements must generate a new window and the existing My Dream Course window must remain open.
• All advertisements must be in-banner and not expand, either automatically or by mouse roll-over.
• All advertisements must not include pop-ups or pop-unders, nor may landing pages spawn pop-up or pop-under advertisements to a user.
• My Dream Course does not allow ads with flashing, excessive animation, "fake winner" copy or fake functionality such as HTML Drop Downs or Search Forms.
• If an advertisement uses third-party tags and has My Dream Course's prior written consent, please include specific trafficking instructions. A contact at the third-party is required and must be provided to My Dream Course prior to the campaign start date.
• All impression delivery and billing will be based on My Dream Course reporting numbers unless otherwise specified in the applicable insertion order.
• All tags for Thank You Placement must be secure.
• If Advertising Content is late or does not meet guidelines noted herein, My Dream Course reserves the right to extend the campaign by the number of days the Advertising Content was late in order to reach the contracted impression goals. However, My Dream Course will work with the applicable advertiser or agency to deliver all impressions within the contracted flight dates pending placement and available inventory.
• Advertisements may not use My Dream Course logos or trademarks or mention or refer to My Dream Course, its site, or its brand in any manner without My Dream Course's prior written consent.
• Ads must incorporate advertiser’s trademark. The messaging should not mislead the user.
• Advertisements must not interfere with navigation on My Dream Course.com, obscure other content or advertisements, access or alter user's computer settings or preferences, or otherwise unduly or inappropriately interfere with the user's experience of or My Dream Course’s operation of My Dream Course.com.
• Advertisements must not trigger downloads of software to a user’s computer without first providing the user with clear and conspicuous disclosures regarding the installation, operation and removal of the software, and providing the user with an opportunity to decline to install the software after such disclosures are made.
• The display URL must be the actual destination URL (i.e., the website that the advertisement's link resolves to, not a redirect) of the advertisement so that it informs the user of the destination website of the advertisement.
• The destination URL of an advertisement must work properly and resolve to a working website. It cannot connect to an email address or file, and must not be under construction.
• All advertisements must support "http:" and "https:" for visitors who browse and purchase in secure mode.
• By running your ad campaign on our site, you consent to us performing security checks on your ads.
Advertising Creative Policy
All Advertiser Content must be appropriate for general audience and must comply with all laws, rules and regulations that apply to the Advertiser, the Advertiser Content and any location where the advertisements may appear.
• Religious or spiritual services and related content is not allowed.
• Political – political party related and/or issue related is not allowed.
• Toys and other products 'marketed to children' are not allowed.
• Loyalty/Affinity/Rewards and related content is not allowed.
• Foul, vulgar or obscene language or content that features nudity or excessive violence including blood, guts, and guns is not allowed.
• Pharmacies & Medical/Pharmaceutical Products: Advertisements for pharmacies and medical or pharmaceutical products are restricted based on applicable laws and subject to My Dream Course's prior written approval. Generally speaking, My Dream Course will accept advertisements for common/general conditions such as Cold remedies.
• Advertising of special or free offers: The landing page must prominently present the offer being advertised. Example: If the advertisement offers 50% off, then the landing page must feature the products that are 50% off.
• Free Offers & Sweepstakes: Advertising promoting sweepstakes may or may not be allowed, subject to My Dream Course's prior written approval. Advertising "free" goods or services must indicate that terms and conditions apply.
• Calls to action: Non-specific calls to action (e.g., "Click here") are not allowed. Specific calls are acceptable. Example of acceptable call to action would be 'click here for more information', 'watch video', etc.
• Pornography, escort services, products claiming to enhance sex, and other "adult" sexual content is not allowed.
• Illicit drugs, drug paraphernalia or products to beat drug tests are not allowed.
• Gambling or gambling paraphernalia, including online gambling, poker, or bingo is not allowed.
• Tobacco or tobacco related products are not allowed.
• Illegal activities, including false document services, counterfeit designer goods, cable descramblers, fireworks, websites that promote hacking or evading law enforcement are not allowed.
• Weapons, including guns, gun parts, kits, mace, blank powder and ammunition are not allowed.
• Depictions of excessive tattoos and body piercing are not allowed.
• Medical research solicitations are not allowed.
• Acupuncture and related content is not allowed.
• Psychics and related content is not allowed.
• Content that is defamatory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy is not allowed.
• Hate speech – inciting or advocating violence or racial intolerance is not allowed.
• Content that is threatening, abusive, harassing, or advocate against a protected group, whether based on race, color, national origin, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, age or any similar or other category is not allowed.
• Content that promotes any illegal or dangerous activity is not allowed.
• Deceptive, false or misleading content is not allowed.
• Content or technology that infringes, encourages, or enables the infringement of, the intellectual property or personal rights of others is not allowed.
My Dream Course reserves the right to add, remove or modify this policy at any time by placing updated advertising policies on My Dream Course. My Dream Course reserves the right to reject or remove any advertisements at any time in its sole discretion.
