WHAT IS BUSINESS COMMUNICATION?
Business Communication is the ability to write effective business documents which communicate knowledge and ideas effectively. This includes all styles of written communication within an office environment as well as ensuring that correct English grammar is used. This course will equip individuals with the written communication skills to operate more effectively in their workplace.

o Writing to communicate
o Knowing your audience
o Business communication style and tone
o Using correct grammar
o The importance of using Plain English
o Avoiding common language mistakes
o Business letter writing
o Report writing
o Using e-mail for business efficiency
o Other communication: facsimile and memos
o Receiving written business communication
This training course is at NQF Level 4 with 3 Credits and aligned to SAQA unit standard ID No 7822 (Prepare written communications).
